Ozark Eye Center was founded in 1984 and was first located in The Village Mall. Ozark Eye Center then moved to the current location in 1990 where a 6000 square foot state of the art facility, including north central Arkansas’ 1st and the state of Arkansas’ 4th Ambulatory Surgery Center, was built.
Due to continued growth Ozark Eye Center's facility expanded to 17,000 square feet in 2006. In addition to increased clinical, surgical, and optical space, Envision Med Spa was opened.
Physicians at Ozark Eye Center have introduced many “innovations in ophthalmology” to the twin lakes area including: surgery outside of a hospital setting (ambulatory surgery center), phacoemulsification and small incision cataract surgery, no-stitch cataract surgery, radial keratotomy (RK), injections of Avasitn and Lucentis for Wet Macular Degeneration, and Advanced Laser Vision Correction.
